Terms of Service
1. Who we are.
The Abroad Dossier and related services ("Abroad") are provided by Mr Hudson, Inc. ("Mr Hudson," "we"), a Delaware corporation with its place of business in Brooklyn, New York, operating as an independent affiliate of Coastline Travel Group (CST: 2040360-40). Contact: abroad@mrhudsonexplores.com.
2. What the Dossier is — and is not.
The Dossier is a personalized research report. It is not legal, tax, immigration, financial, or medical advice, and no attorney-client, adviser-client, or fiduciary relationship is created by purchasing or reading it. Where a question requires a licensed professional, the Dossier says so and may name practitioners; any engagement with them is directly between you and that professional, on their terms. Where we have a referral arrangement with a professional we introduce you to, we disclose it to you at the time of the introduction.
3. What you receive.
(a) A private web report covering a shortlist of up to three countries, researched for your household from your intake; (b) a PDF snapshot; (c) one 30-minute debrief call; (d) update alerts for twelve months from delivery, covering material changes in the countries your report recommends, as assessed by us.
4. Price and payment.
The fee is stated at the point of purchase and is charged when you submit the intake. Nothing is charged, and no intake data is stored, if you abandon the intake before submitting.
5. Delivery.
We deliver within five business days of submission, unless we contact you first (see section 6).
6. If your countries fall outside our coverage.
Our research covers a defined set of countries, stated on our site. If your preferred destination falls outside it, we will contact you within three business days of submission with a choice: (a) an honest, clearly labeled sketch based on the research we can stand behind; (b) a quoted bespoke study at additional cost; or (c) a full refund.
7. Refunds.
Beyond section 6: if we fail to deliver within the promised window, you may choose a full refund. Because the Dossier is bespoke research performed on commission, no refund is otherwise due once the report is delivered. If you believe your report contains material factual errors, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will correct them or, at our discretion, refund you in part or in full.
8. Accuracy, dates, and change.
Every material claim in a Dossier carries the date we verified it. Laws, practices, fees, and timelines change — sometimes between our verification and your reading. The Dossier reflects our understanding as of the dates shown, and we do not guarantee any immigration, tax, or other outcome. Update alerts (section 3d) are a monitoring service, not a guarantee that you will learn of every change.
9. Your input.
The report is only as good as your intake. We are not responsible for conclusions built on information you provided that was inaccurate or incomplete.
10. Personal use.
The Dossier is prepared exclusively for the household named on it. You may share it with your own professional advisers; you may not republish, resell, or otherwise distribute it.
11. Liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to the Dossier is limited to the fee you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Changes, governing law, and forum.
We may update these terms; the version in force when you submit your intake governs your purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, unless the law of your place of residence grants you non-waivable rights to a different forum.
